Features

• Transaction Recording: Users enter one or more financial transactions in a selected foreign currency. Each transaction is stored with full metadata including currency, amount, and transaction date.
• Exchange Rate Conversion: Exchange rates are retrieved automatically from the Fixer service. The customization typically uses the prior day’s closing exchange rate when intra-day trading is not required.
• Audit Trail and Data Integrity: Each transaction includes a complete audit trail showing the source exchange rate, conversion date, and external data provider. All data is securely stored within Caspio.
• Portfolio Consolidation: Transactions recorded in multiple currencies can be consolidated back into a single base currency, supporting portfolio valuation and financial reporting.
