About This App Localization
The App Localization customization by WorkMovr displays a Caspio application's labels in the language each user selects, all within a single deployed DataPage. It extends Caspio's built-in Localization feature, which sets the language of system text, such as messages, button captions and record navigation labels, and applies local standards for dates, numbers and currency. App Localization builds on that foundation in two ways: it covers the application's own labels, and it moves the language choice from the builder to the user.
It works as a retrofit for existing Bridge applications, adding localized labels with minimal change to the underlying app. Translations come from a User-Defined Phrase Library that holds the wording for each supported language. Because the library is defined by the customer, a native speaker can supply accurate, context-appropriate wording rather than relying on automated translation. Adding localization to a DataPage takes a single line of code, with no changes to the DataPage's core logic.
The Phrase Library supports any set of languages the application needs, including right-to-left scripts such as Arabic. Users pick a language from a selector and the app re-renders its labels in the chosen language.
